CEO email list: only the CEOs of real companies, every email checked
The short answer
A CEO title says little on its own. Anyone can call themselves CEO, and consultants, coaches and freelancers often do.
The fix is a staff floor. Ask for companies with 50 or more staff and you get the heads of real companies. Wisemation builds the list from one sentence, and every email is checked live before it counts.
The title says CEO. The headcount tells you what it means.

What is a CEO email list?
A CEO email list is a set of chief executives with their work email addresses, usually filtered by industry, company size and country. Most are sold as an export from a contact database.
The other way is to build the list for each search: every person is checked against your description, and every email is verified before it counts.
Why do so many "CEOs" on a list run tiny companies?
Anyone can call themselves CEO. Consultants, coaches and freelancers often do, and their one-person companies have websites like everyone else. A title filter cannot tell them apart from the head of a company with 2,000 staff.
So a list built on titles alone fills up with chief executives of one-person coaching and consulting firms. The title says CEO. The company does not.
How do you build a CEO email list that holds up?
Put a staff floor in the sentence. Leaving out companies under 50 staff is the single most useful rule. Then say what the companies do and where they are.

It searches the web for them. It finds the companies first, then the right person at each, and drops anyone who does not fit.
3
Every email is checked, every person researched. Each address is verified live before it counts, and each person gets a short note on why they fit.
4
It writes the emails. The first email and the follow-ups, each written for that person. On paid plans, the LinkedIn request too.
5
You approve, and it sends from your own accounts. Or export the list to CSV, Excel, Google Sheets or HubSpot.
How is this different from buying a CEO list?
A database export gives you everyone who matches the filters. A search built from your sentence keeps only the people who match what you described, and the ones who do not cost 0 lead credits.

What does a CEO email list cost here?
10 leads free each month, no card, sent from your own inbox. Paid plans differ only in how many leads you get, and every paid plan has every feature, LinkedIn included. People who do not match your sentence cost 0 lead credits.
No phone numbers. It finds work emails and LinkedIn profiles, not direct dials.
No org charts and no intent data. It finds the person you describe; it does not map a whole company or tell you who is shopping right now.
Not a bulk export of millions. Each person is matched and written to one by one, so it suits a list you will actually contact.
Questions about CEO email lists
Where can I get a CEO email list?
From a contact database export, or by building it for each search. A built list checks each person against your description and verifies every email live before it counts.
Can I filter CEOs by company size?
Yes, and you should. Write the size into the sentence, for example 50 to 500 staff. It is the single most useful rule for a CEO list.
Can I get business owners instead of CEOs?
Yes. Write "owners" or "founders" instead of CEOs. For wealthy owners, the search can also look for public signs such as a company sale or a large stake in a profitable company.
Do I have to send the emails from Wisemation?
No. It can send from your own Gmail or Outlook with follow-ups, or you can export to CSV, Excel, Google Sheets or HubSpot, or push the list to Instantly.
Wisemation finds them, checks every email, researches each person, writes the emails, and sends them from your own inbox. 10 leads free each month, no card.
