Women-owned law firms: how to find them in your region and email the owner
The short answer
Write one sentence, such as "Female founding partners of law firms in Illinois", and add "women only". Wisemation finds the law firms a woman owns or runs, and gives you the owner with a checked work email and the reason the firm fits.
A directory gives you names. This gives you the owner, ready to email.

What counts as a women-owned law firm?
A women-owned business is a firm that is at least 51% owned and run by women. That is the bar the two main US certifications use: WBENC for corporate supplier programs and the SBA's WOSB program for federal contracts.
In-house legal teams that want women-led firms on their panel.
Legal software and legal marketing selling to the founding partner.
Law firm networks and events looking for members and speakers.
How do you find women-owned law firms?
Write one sentence and add "women only". Wisemation writes that down as a rule about the person, so the search itself looks for women, not just the companies.
Then every first name is read before a lead counts, in most searches before the email check and the research even start. People read as men are dropped and cost 0 lead credits.
It reads the first name the way a person would, together with the country. It does not use photos, and it does not ask anyone anything.
Name the place as a city, a state or a country. The search reads meaning, not keywords, so "owner" also finds a founder, a principal or a managing partner.
Ask for the owner, founder or CEO, women only. That finds the firms a woman runs, and the person you talk to about the work.
What does each firm come with?
The owner, the reason the firm fits your sentence, a fit score, and a work email checked live before it counts.

What does it not do?
It does not check certification. It finds firms run by a woman. If a contract needs a certified women-owned business (WBE, WOSB or your country's version), check each firm in the certifier's own directory before you count it.
Not for hiring. "Women only" works on sales searches. On a search for job candidates it is switched off.
No phone numbers. It finds work emails and LinkedIn profiles, not direct dials.
Questions about women-owned law firms
Is there a directory of women-owned law firms?
Certifying bodies keep directories of the firms they certified, and a firm is only listed if it applied. A search finds the firms a woman runs whether certified or not, with the owner's email.
Does it check WBE or WOSB certification?
No. Check certification in the certifier's own directory before you count a firm toward a contract goal.
Does it work outside the US?
Yes. It searches the web, not one country's database, so it works in the UK, the Nordics and the rest of Europe too.
Wisemation finds them, checks every email, researches each person, writes the emails and follow-ups, and sends them from your own inbox. 10 leads free each month, no card.
